Brainspotting is a powerful somatic tool that helps you access and heal trauma where it lives: deep in the nervous system.
If you’ve tried traditional therapy but still feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—your body might be holding onto unresolved trauma.

When trauma lives in the body, healing has to go deeper than talk.

Where you look affects how you feel.
This core principle of Brainspotting reflects how trauma and healing are accessed through the body's innate wisdom.
What Is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a gentle, brain-body therapy developed to treat PTSD, anxiety, panic, and emotional overwhelm.
It works by identifying “brainspots”—specific eye positions linked to stored emotional or physical distress. When we focus on these spots while staying present to body sensations, the brain can naturally process and release what’s been stuck.

Brainspotting allows you to go deeper than talk therapy alone—without having to retell or relive painful memories.

Clients often say, “It’s like something finally shifted—and I didn’t have to explain it all.”

While both EMDR and Brainspotting access the brain's natural ability to heal trauma, Brainspotting goes deeper by working with the body's felt sense and allowing for more individualized, intuitive processing.
What does a Brainspotting session look like?
In a Brainspotting session, we begin by identifying a specific issue or area of focus-this could be a feeling, memory, or physical sensation.
You will be guided to find a "brainspot" using your eye position while staying connected to what's happening in your body. From there, we hold gentle, mindful attention on the spot, allowing your brain and nervous system to naturally process and release stuck material.
